Week One

Week one of the 52 Week Park Project found me a tad under the weather, and thus, only visiting the park three times.  Colorado has been having a dry winter, and the park was looking a little underwhelming during its debut picture taking session on January 2.

I was worried that my little blog was off to a rather inauspicious start.  But then, on Saturday, a  little front moved through town and dumped a couple of inches on the park.  On the last day I could get pictures for week one, I was blessed with the type of day that made me want to start this blog in the first place; a day when the whole park is covered in an untouched layer of snow and the sun is shining.

 

That's more like it.

Not sure Bogey was enjoying the snow as much as I was.  He had to wear his coat.

Week one, in the books.  I told Mike that even if I fail to continue this little experiment for a full 52 weeks, I'm glad I managed to drag out the camera today and get these shots.
