Just a perfect sunny weekend in the park - snow that was in view on Saturday was disappearing on Sunday.
If it weren't for the wind, it would have been a lovely weekend to linger in the park. Since it was pretty gusty, however, I hurried to get my usual shots and headed home. Did finally snag this shot, which probably should have been snapped in week one.
Next week, I'll finally have some sunrise pictures!

Week Seven
No new snow in week seven, and the park wasn't looking its best this week. I'm thinking I'll have lots of these types of weeks ahead of me this year.
Week Six
I'm still limited to weekend shots of the park, but ever so slowly, it is getting lighter in the morning, so I'm hoping to have some sunrise shots soon. Even with the relatively short shooting sessions, I'm still pleased with a few of the shots I end up with each week. Hope that feeling continues all year.

Week Five
On Thursday of week five, a blizzard moved through town, dumping over a foot of snow on the park. I struggled during week five to get good shots of the park, but nothing gussies up the park like a fresh coat of snow. Bogey and I ventured out on Saturday to get some shots before the storm cleared.

By Sunday morning, the snow had moved on and the sun was out.
Thanks to the slow moving storm, we were treated to a snow day on Friday. One of my fellow park goers celebrated their snow day at the park.
Week Four
Week four saw the temporary return of sunny skies and brown landscapes. Not too many scenic shots this week beyond the weekly standards.
When I walked by the Lakewood Heritage Center, I got a few shots of this fellow before he was put away until next Christmas.
